Our Team

Larry began his career in financial services in 1981. In 1986 Larry and his wife Kim, moved to Midland from Toronto and became affiliated with Mink Insurance Services. The affiliation with Mink Insurance was a good fit and Larry’s business flourished to the extent that they required additional space. To that end, in 2001, Investment Planning Counsel moved to their current location at 437 King St.

Larry is driven to build meaningful, long term, multi-generational relationships with his clients. His primary function is to meet with clients on a regular basis to gain a better understanding of their financial goals. Through his processes he’s able to build a plan of action to drive his clients towards accomplishing their objectives.

Larry is a Certified Financial Planner. He has extensive knowledge working with small to medium size business owners. He provides services in Retirement Planning, Investments, Education savings, life and disability insurance, critical illness insurance and employee benefit plans.

On a more personal note, Larry enjoys competing in triathlons, golf, curling and skiing. He is active in the community and has served on the Board of Directors of the Midland YMCA, Rosewood Shelter for woman and Knox Price House.
